Yorkshire team-mate Azeem Rafiq for using racist
Gary Ballance issued an unreserved apology to his ex-Yorkshire team-mate Azeem Rafiq for using racist language towards him.
Ballance, 32, met his former colleague earlier this week
and, in a statement released by Rafiq’s lawyers, said: ‘I apologise
unreservedly to Azeem

‘I did use unacceptable — at times racist — language. If I
had realised how much this hurt Azeem, I would have stopped immediately. That’s
why I wanted to meet him and be clear in person that I intended no malice.
